On Friday, October 29,
2010, 200 leading edge medium and small sized companies (SMEs) from Zhejiang
Province, one of the richest Chinese provinces with many of the most vibrant
SMEs, led by Mr. Zushan Lv, Governor of Zhejiang Province, will visit New York to
participate in the Zhejiang – US SME Partnership Program. A list of the Zhejiang SME Business Delegation (pdf) is available here.
The Zhejiang –
US SME Partnership Program opening ceremony and a one-on-one matchmaking
conference will take place at 9:00 am on 10/29/2010 (Friday) in Sheraton Hotel,
New York City at 7th Avenue and 53rd Street. In addition to Chinese executives,
more than 200 US corporate businesses from various industries have been invited
to participate. Ranking officials from New York City Hall, US Small Business
Administration, US Department of Commerce and leaders from various business
organizations have been invited to participate, as well. This program promises
to be one of the largest and most influential business promotion events in the
New York City. For more details, visit the Global Alliance of SMEs website.
China has emerged as the second largest
economy in the world. Its vast market size with 1.3 billion consumers, low cost
but high skilled labor forces, and remarkable purchasing power backed by its impressive
foreign reserves and potential currency appreciations have made China an attractive
reality for US business. Over 200 Zhejiang Province company executives who are
seeking business collaboration with US companies in trade, technologies, and
finance will participate in this event. In order to enhance the
US firms’ participation at the event, GSME will provide 50 meeting/exhibiting tables
for US companies that want to exhibit their products, technologies and
services.
Due to the
limited space, meeting/exhibit tables will be provided on the
first come, first serve basis. All participants (with or without a table
request) must register in advance. Only pre-registered attendees may participate.
Detailed information is provided in the Registration Form and Sponsorship Information (pdf). Contact Dr. George Wang, GSME, with any questions at jgwang@verizon.net
or call 732-762-4364.
